I like to think Thanatos is the most welcoming story to different interpretations as a whole. The entirety of the album uses heavy imagery, and I've seen a lot of people get really creative with the ideas behind it, even if they don't understand the symbolism. But who am I to assert what is right or wrong? The beauty of Thanatos is that there is so much room for ideas, but it could just as well turn off people who want a more linear style of storytelling, such as what we see in Moira. This is my absolute favorite horizon as a whole in many regards, even if it is such a short journey.
