Sound Horizon, as a story-driven group, has always benefited from narrations. From Thanatos all the way down to Vanishing Starlight, we've had narration for our songs from a varied pool of talent. And in some cases, such as the recent Halloween Party, we've even had other narrators filling each other's role. The question remains, however. Who is your favorite narrator, Guest?

On topic of discussion...I think I have two favorite narrators above the rest. My most favorite has got to be Aramary and how she singlehandedly voiced so many different characters successfully in the first few releases. Her narration was always really incredible to me. My second favorite narrator is Ike who is one of the most charming Sound Horizon personas to me. He can be a little "wow, that's weird!" to some people who have heard his voice for the first time randomly inserted in Sound Horizon, but he has become such an integral part of the band (even participating in the most recent Maxi Singles). I just love him!

After that, of course there's JIMANG who I adore. Akio is also an incredible narrator. SH is just bursting at the seams with talent--no matter who it is, it's always good. Sascha was excellent in IdoIdo and Marchen, for example!

My favorite narrator is Aramary's diverse range in voice acting. Ike is also marvelous on moira and halloyoru. He can sound either comedic or really husky and cool. Akio's also amazingly deep and great in his narration of Etoille and Pleut's story (too lazy to find the accurate name...)

That would be Hoshikuzu no Harnais(/Kawahimo), dearie.

My favourite is probably either Ike, whose voice always manages to get me hyped up along with the audience, or Fukami Rica, since I absolutely loved her narrations/interpretations of Michèle Malebranche in Roman.

But why do we have to pick and choose? I love every narrator we've had the pleasure to hear.

Though all the narrators are great, I must admit I'm very partial to Ike. Perhaps I'm really biased as he is the main narrator in most of my favorite horizons and I can understand every single word he says! Even disregarding that, though, he does have a very...epic kind of voice (I hate using that word as it has pretty much lost all its meaning now, but that's the best way I can think to describe it) and he just adds a wonderful atmosphere to all the songs he's in.

Aside from him I would also have to choose Aramary. I may be a little biased with her too, as she's the main narrator of my other favorite hoizons, but. She has a fantastic range of voices, and even though her singing wasn't always on point, her narration and voice acting certainly were. Also, she just has this lovely quality to her voice that I don't know how to describe well, but I love regardless.

As much as I love Ike in everything he does, Aramary just has such a stellar voice, and her narrations during Thanatos and Chronicle 2: Electric Boogaloo always left me so entranced that I can't help but name her as my favorite. Not to mention her singing. Good lord her singing is great... Aramary is god's gift to man tbh.....

Everyone or almost everyone knows by now how much I disagree with Aramary's singing quality (average at best, insufferable at worst. And mainly headache-producing, in part for her abuse of a falsetto I find annoying), but also knows that my opinion changes radically once we talk about narrating and voice acting. That woman is truly good at that, and her acting as the Eternal Boy always sends shudders to my spine. So damn good.

So I can agree with everyone in that. Aramary is an awesome narrator. But so are Ike, Sascha, Rica, Jimang (It must be my favorite part of Hiiro no Fuusha), Akio...

Simply, at the end, I'm with Sorau in that I can't decide to choose one or the other. Every narrator is Sound Horizon is a narrator I love.
